Daddy's Little Girl

We don't think she looks like Steve at all.

3 Days Old

Last night and early this morning Anna was wide awake. We were excited to see her eyes.

Soccer Season

Stephen had his first soccer game yesterday. He is the four to five year old division and its fun to watch the little kids run and dribble and do their best to figure out what they are doing. We didn't get any good shots of Stephen playing, but he did make the only goal on his team. They don't keep score at this age, but he figured out on his own that the other team made two goals and his team only made one. He was not so happy about that. It was cute.

Baby Luke

It has been interesting to watch Luke realize he is no longer going to be the baby of the family. Sometimes he likes to go into Anna's room and put on her headbands and sit in her car seat and pretend he's a baby. He is becoming quite a big kid now though. This last week he some huge leaps potty training and it will be nice to have him out of diapers before the baby is born.

Anna's Room

We are so excited to be having a little girl and just last week finished the her room. I had a smaller budget to work with and had friends and family help me make curtians, dust ruffles, changing pads covers and quilts. Steve and I also painted the crib and an old changing table we found at a thrift store we fixed up.

Luke's New Bed

We've done a lot of rearranging at home to get ready for the new baby. One of our tasks has been to graduate Luke from the crib to a regular bed. He and Stephen both love their new "Ninja Turtle" beds.

Stephen's almost broken arm

A few weeks ago we went to a party at the home of the owners of the gym I teach aerobics at. They rented a moon walk for all the kids. We didn't see it, but Stephen was jumping with about twenty other kids and fell and hurt his arm. We thought it was broken. At urgent care they gave him a sling and lots of attention. About a week later he was feeling fine.

Baby Shower

In Utah, Jessica and my mom threw a baby shower for me. I loved being with all of my cousins and aunts and all their young children. There were tons of young moms and lots of little boys and girls all under age six. We had a great time.

Visit to Utah.

In July we were able to go home for a few weeks. We did all sorts of fun things like go tubing on Grandpa's new boat.

Summer Fun

June was a nice month, not too hot yet. The boys had fun playing at the park near our house.
