Beach Vacation!

Our good friends the Marsaws invited us to go to the Florida Beaches with them for a long weekend. It was the most wonderful thing ever! It was our first time visiting the beaches of the gulf coast and they are amazing. Turquoise water, white sand, and the best thing was that we had almost an entire beach to ourselves. It was very relaxing and a true blessing to our family.

Play time!

The kids had the most wonderful time playing at the beach. Stephen adores the ocean. He cried when we left and wanted to know why we couldn't buy a "condor" so we could go back a lot. Luke loved it too. They built sand castles, collected sea shells, buried people, and chased waves. Steve and I had a lot of fun with Alex and Jessica as well. It was a fun time for all.

Long Walks

We took a nice long walk on the beach on Sunday. Luke loved collecting sea shells. The ocean is such a spiritual place. It was rejuvinating in every way.

Mommy and Anna

Anna is getting so big and cuddly. She is the sweetest thing that has ever happened to our family. She makes everyone smile and is a little bundle of joy.

Best Buds

Luke is a great kid until he gets tired. . . . and then, well we just pray for patience so we don't kill him.

Destin, Florida

We spent half a day in the outskirts of Destin doing some shopping and went out to lunch. The kids enjoyed the fountains and a train ride.

Anna loved her first family vacation and especially spending time with her Dad.

As first time home owners, it seems there is always a project looming. Our last big one was our room. We decided it needed some color. Its shiny!
